Testing Time
Monday was the date for my theory and hazard perceptions tests, and boy was I nervous. Having not sat a theory test, I really didn’t know what to expect.
At 7:50 AM I turned up at the building and reported to the reception where they inspected my driving license and checked my details 3 times.
I was told to take off my coat and jumper and empty my pockets, and then I was told to report to the invigilator who would show me what to do next.
The Invigilator showed me where to sit and explained the computer and mouse to me. I then proceeded to answer the questions, fifty in all. when I had finished there is a 3 minute break and the Hazard perception part starts
Now, the Hazard Perception test is a collection of videos filmed from the point of a rider and you have to identify any and all hazard in that short clip. clicking lots of times or in a routine manner will fail the test.
When the test is complete you leave the computer and head back to the reception where you are given a sheet with your results.
In my case I passed both parts, 48 out of 50 for the theory and 61 out of 75 for the hazard perception.
I now have my Mod 1 test to complete which is booked for May.
